AGEN and AGEN-USA Inc. continue to navigate several challenges as a not-for-profit. However, we are determined to continue impacting lives of disadvantaged people. Briefly, over 400 Tanzanian women entrepreneurs continue to benefit from our interventions. In the year 2011, women entrepreneur received a grant worthy $10,000 to run a revolving fund. They have managed to keep the fund and revolve it among themselves as they impact their lives and move several steps away from the poverty line.

Abel, above, is a mother of four and one of the beneficiaries. She engages in sale of vegetables. Her profit has more than doubled and she has managed to support her family including sending her children to school. Without AGEN and AGEN-USA Inc.'s intervention, she would not be able to support her family.
